Meningeal Gliomatosis Presenting as Multiple Cerebral Infarcts:A Case Report

Article Abstract
A 70-year old man presented to the hospital with a history of progressive cognitive decline,and shortly after admission he developed sudden neurologic deterioration leading to coma.CT revealed multiple contrast- enhancing lesions within the cerebral hemispheres and midbrain tectum. Autopsy revealed a left occipital glioblastoma associated with wide-spread meningeal dissemination of tumor,occlusive vasculopathy,and multifocal infarcts.
